Seducing Spirits

The battle between good and evil… how many people know that the spiritual battle that we have all been placed on this earth to fight takes place in our minds? It is true, what we believe influences what we think. Not only what we think, but how we think it! What we think influences our actions. Our actions influence others, teaching them what or who we represent. Now, if we have a confession to serve Jesus Christ, our actions can and will, often times, reflect on Him. Amen? Not only this, but our actions prove what we really believe, right?

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

We are told here, in scripture, to think on good things. Obviously, if our thoughts are continually on good things, we should have only good works. Most people (but not all) – most believe that whatever they are doing is alright to do, and that they are doing what is good. Who can prove this wrong? If a person thinks that it is okay to kill, for instance, they will have no problem doing so, right?

The problem comes in when the minds of people become tainted with false information. This causes them to have faith in false ideals. They then act out on these beliefs and perform works that neither benefit themselves, or the people who are around them. And, who is around us? The entire world!

We know that there will be and already are people in this world that cannot tell the difference between what is in reality good, and what is truly evil…

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Since “Jesus Christ” is the Truth:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

…antichrist would be the opposite – a lie!

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Psalms 38:20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

Proverbs 17:13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.

Some people even believe that they are serving The Lord, but what they are believing is a lie. Proof?

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

What are the works of God in us?

Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Now, we are not talking about what mankind calls good here… we are talking about what God’s Holy Word defines as good! What happens when we believe God’s version of Truth? One thing is that it is compounding. What do I mean by “compounding”? The more you read God’s Word, the more Truth you will have; each individual Truth builds upon the next. When your Truth puzzle is complete, you can now see the salvation of our God!

John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Not only will the Truth make you free but-

1 Timothy 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Unfortunately, for balance, the opposite is also true, if you believe a lie:

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Did you know that lies compound upon one another also? The deeper the hole that a person falls into, the harder it is to get out of. This means that, the deeper the hole, the less likely it is that they will ever get out of it. Of course, satan, does not want us to get out alive!

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour

The devil’s game is to sink this world so far into deception that no one born into can ever find the light of day (The Light of Christ), that they might be saved. Look around you. Not only are there hundreds of religions our there, but thousands of so-called Christian beliefs. Just how many Christs are there? How many different Christ’s are needed to save a person? The answer, of course, is only one. Let me repeat this scripture:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

There is only one Way, only one Truth, and only one life that we must live; there is only one Jesus Christ!

But this world continues to grow more and more evil as every day goes by…

2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

2 Timothy 3:4-7 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Even the common sinner doesn’t know which way is up. Society is void of common truths. It has become so bad now that they cannot even judge what is right concerning nature – talk about a deep hole! These people are so confused that, even God’s Word teaches that many of them are too far gone to ever believe the Truth.

Romans 1:21-28 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient

That word, “reprobate” was also used earlier in the passage we quoted from the book of Titus, regarding false and deceived preachers. Do you know what “reprobate” means? Here are a couple of definitions that I found:

(verb) 1: to condemn strongly as unworthy, unacceptable, or evil

2 : to refuse to accept : reject

I’m afraid that these poor people have been robbed of common sense. They have given up that tiny spark of faith that God imparts to ever person born into this world. They counted it worthless and have allowed satan to steal it from them. Homosexuality is an abomination to God. Not only is it a physical representation of pure mutany against nature, but it is also a spiritual reflection of rebellion towards the union of Christ and His bride to be; the church. The church cannot marry another church (or belief other than Jesus Christ) and be saved or, much like two people of the same sex cannot really become one union by biblical definition which is complete in producing children naturally.

John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Why does God consider homosexuality sin? Because it is surrounded by lies and unnatural works. People can get so twisted up in a lifestyle that is contrary to reality, that they can never find their way back to fathom reality. What do I mean by this? Come on now: if you were born with male parts, you are a male. God designed you that way because that is what He wanted you to be. That also determines the way that He wanted you to behave, the things that He wants you to have, the responsibilities, etc. That body is what God blessed you with on earth. The same is true for a woman. God did not make any “it”’s! We should praise Him for what He has done rather than accuse Him of making mistakes!

Psalms 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Remember at open, it was said that this “spiritual battle” is in our minds? That is because your mind is where your thoughts take place, right? A spirit, for practical explanation, is a way of thinking. Your individual spirit resides in your mind. Your spirit is basically the way that you think. Did you know that spirits can rub off on one another? Your spirit (or spirits) can rub off on someone else. Our spirits, ideals, or ways of thinking can actually be taught to another person through our words; communication and behaviors.

This is why some people in the LGBT community will say that they believe that God made them to be “gay”. It is because that a child’s mind is innocent and wide open to learn any spirits that it might be subjected to when it is young. A child probably does not even realize that it is taking place. They are essentially fooled into believing that they were born thinking the way that they do because they cannot recall when the evil thoughts started taking place in their minds. As the scripture says, they do not want to retain God in their knowledge because His Word condemns their behavior and tells them that they do not have the right to make some of the choices that they make.

When God makes something, it is perfect. He makes no mistakes!

Genesis 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Romans 9:20-23 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to Him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22What if God, willing to shew His wrath, and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23And that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had afore prepared unto glory

Think about it: an innocent child does not even know what sexual orientation is. They are innocent when they are born. They do not have sexual desires, right? An infant simply does not know if it is male of female, does it? It doesn’t even know that males and females exist, at least from a physical design aspect. Children are born with the spirit of innocence and are then sharpened by their environment they are surround by. Once someone shares with them that they can choose to pretend that they are someone that they are not, then they feel empowered and justified in believing that they are and whatever they want to be. “You mean I can be a girl even though I appear to be a boy? It’s my choice?” Yes, and you can jump off of a bridge also, but that does not mean that it is a healthy choice, now does it?

Again- spirits rub off on one another. Why is this important to know and understand? Because we need to know to take heed to what we listen to and to what we believe! Remember, that what we believe affects our actions? Ever hear the saying, “hang out with a sheep killer, and you will be called a sheep killer”? This is because when you hang out with someone, you share thoughts. The longer you share thoughts with someone, the more often you hear their way of thinking (or, in other words, their spirit.) Just like that song that you did not like when you first heard it, but now that it has played on the radio for months, it does not sound that bad: when you are around people long enough, you can start believing what they believe.

Proverbs 29:24 Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.

If you believe what someone else believes, and what they believe is evil, you will start believing that it is okay to condone what they are doing. After a while, you may even find it acceptable to do those things yourself. Either way, you are not guilty of evil works, which is sin in the sight of God.

1 Timothy 5:22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

The Spirit of God will produce children of God. They think like God. They do what is good in His sight. Every other spirit, is “antichrist”, or opposed to Christ. These have all come out from the spirit of error. Error is of this world and will produce sin. Sin is of the devil.

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Ephesians 5:11-14 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Yes, satan has this world so confused that it does not know if it is coming or going; it cannot tell good from evil, it cannot save itself: only God can save those who will believe Truth. He wants us to have His Spirit. He wants us to think the way that He does. Then, and only then, will we be able truly discern good from evil, that we might be saved from hell fire. Gay spirits, spirits of fear, spirits of divination, misinterpretations of the bible, etc. – these are all doctrines of devils and will send anyone who believes them to a devil’s hell. PLEASE do not allow yourself to believe these! Please spare yourself and those around you! You do not need to go there!

1 Corinthians 2:12-16 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
